Joint Adventures update

Well it's October, and soon the rivers of Cumbria will be open, with hopefully just the right amount of water to make them fun for most people. If you want to move on to paddling on moving water or white water then get in touch, and we'll be glad to send you on the right path.

Now speaking of water,we had a great time over a rather wet summer. As ever gorge walking was the most popular activity; not least because the rain makes it better!

Of course there were the other activities; kayaking, canoeing, abseiling...... We even managed to get a turtle down Tilberthwaite Quary. This year we also ran more summer skills courses than we would normally do. This makes me think that you summer tourists out there are becomming more demanding, and are not goint to be happy with just those taster sessions. Well check out our skills section at www,jointadventures.co.uk/skills .

If you're thinking of visiting The Lake District this October half term we have an introduction to white water (kayak) course, as well as the usual abseiling, climbing, canoeing, and we will be running our family adventure days. At Christmas we have a number of trekking days planned over fell and lake.

Watch this Blogg for more updates.
